Swing your wedding, cocktail hour, or business event into motion
“Everything about my wedding day was perfect – except the weather,” says April McCalister. Her October wedding date fell in the flux of an Indiana seasonal change. “It was sunny and warm all month. Then my wedding day comes and it was a damp high of 51.”
“Our catering had already booked and prepared everything, including the beverages. We had coffee available, but nothing else was warm. We took a guess that people would want iced drinks,” April said.
“My mom said she stepped outside for a moment. When she came back in she got to feel what everyone else felt—a sudden warmth not from the climate control, but from the reception music.” Suddenly, all the tensions and stresses of that day vanished. “I never worried about my guests feeling unattended or uncomfortable from that moment on.”
Cocktail Sax was performing that special wedding day. Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon” and “Come Fly With Me” interspersed with jazzy versions of contemporary songs like Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Ramblin’ Man” by the Allman Brothers peppered the wedding attendees. “They even performed some of my favorite Beatle’s songs,” said April.
April attests, “The room felt so comfortable. Everyone relaxed and had a great time. I’d recommend Cocktail Sax repeatedly to every new bride, groom, and family.”
